1957 London, Mrs. Ada Harris, a widowed cleaning lady, becomes obsessed with a client’s haute couture dress; it inspires an ambition to buy her own Dior dress. After unexpectedly receiving a war-widow’s pension, she travels to Paris to do so…
Film Club, aka “Metfield Fleapit”, takes place on the second Saturday of the month in the Village Hall. Doors open at 6:30pm. Entrance £5. Film starts at 7:00pm. Drinks and snacks available in the interval.
