Bar

The fully licensed bar directly serves the Meadow Room and Long Lounge.  It can be hired for functions together with these lounges or the Main Hall.

The bar is open together with the Meadow Room and Long Lounge most Fridays from 7pm until 10pm staffed by volunteers organised by the Village Hall Committee. Regular associated events include Bingo, and an Open Mike Acoustic Night every month, hosted by the Village Hall Committee.

The bar serves keg Carlsberg lager and Aspalls cider and a range of bottle conditioned ales stored in our cooled cellar room.  Subject to demand we are also able to offer a guest cask ale.  The bar also has a wide stock of spirits, wines and soft drinks.

For private parties or functions we can serve local real ales of your choice in either 36 pint or 72 pint casks.  We will need at least two weeks notice to be able to order real ales or other special drinks requests for your event.

Any private hire of the bar can only take place with staff provided by the Village Hall Committee.  It is not possible for hirers to run their own bar.

Please note that we are only able to accept cash payment for all bar and food purchases.

Bar Food

Bar food may be offered from time to time but it will be announced in advance and will usually require booking in advance.
