Description
The speaker at this month’s meeting of Metfield Association of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (Maalg) is Mary Thompson. Mary will be giving a talk and demonstration on Willow Weaving including a discussion of the different types of Willow, their uses and how to look after them.
Mary will demonstrate how to weave a sweet pea obelisk for a container with the added dimension of a woven dragonfly on top. She is kindly donating the completed obelisk as a prize in the raffle.
After the talk there will be refreshments. There is a small charge of £3.00 to non-members of Maalg.
