First Birthday Party
11th March 2018Come and join us at 3pm on Saturday 17th March to celebrate the first birthday of the opening of the Meadow Lounge, Long Lounge and extended kitchen facilities at Metfield Village Hall.
We’ve had a very successful opening year, easily exceeding the business plan forecast upon which our Lottery Grant award was based.
As a result of the new facilities the Village Hall is a much more viable and flexible community facility while the success of the bar means the hall is on a much more secure financial footing than ever before.
This is in no small part due to the sterling efforts of a band of up to 30 volunteers who give their time as Village Hall Committee members, bar staff volunteers, hall trustees and occasional helpers in various other ways.
On behalf of the Trustees and Village Hall Committee we’d also like to extend a big “Thank You” to all our hirers and the many users of the village hall facilities.
You are all invited to our First Birthday Party on the afternoon of Saturday 17th to join us in partaking of some cake and bubbly.
