Macmillan Coffee Morning
3rd September 2017The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. The charity is asking people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone Macmillan raised £29.5 million and this year it is aiming to raise even more. Please add a date to your diary to attend the coffee morning at Metfield Village Hall on Saturday 30th September.
A Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause.
One in three of us will face cancer, and the money raised at the Coffee Morning will help make sure no one has to face it alone.
There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people, and Macmillan wants to be there for them all.
Macmillan provides medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, we’re there for friends and family too.
