Village Hall Vacancy

We are looking for a volunteer to join the Village Hall Committee. The Management Committee is responsible for running, maintaining and improving the Village Hall for the benefit of the village and the surrounding area. The Village Hall is a key element of the social fabric of Metfield and volunteering on the Committee is a great way to make a meaningful contribution to the quality of life in our village.

The role entails:
Attending Hall committee meetings (once a month) usually at around 7 pm in the hall. Our committee members are an energetic and friendly group of volunteers so we often have interesting and sometimes lively meetings.

In addition Committee Members typically take one shift a month working behind the Village Hall bar (full training given) as well as helping with the annual village fete and some other occasional Village Hall functions.
