Path and Turf

The area around the outside of the hall is now looking fantastic thanks to Garry who has been busy donating his time and expertise to lay turf to the side and rear of the hall to cover the area where grass seed planted by the building contractor failed to grow due to the dry weather over the last couple of months.  Garry has also laid a slab pathway between the rear gate and the Meadow Room patio.

Thanks also to John Connolly for previously spraying weedkiller over the area to kill off the thistles and also to Joey Peck for  lending his rotovator to prepare the ground for turfing.

The cost of the turf and other materials is being paid out of the last residuals of the Big Lottery grant.
